FV2 Restore Key Support
There are CLI tools for OS which exist to unlock and mount FV2 volumes with Restore Key. It would be nice if this could be done in Passware.

Version 2018.1.2 feature eliminated -- Sorting Clients & High Level Stats
Sorting… I like to sort the network clients so I can easily find missing clients. Computer names are sequential or based on models with location so I can easily locate one that is down. 2018v1.2 new UI eliminated this ability along with high level x number of systems calculating/connected. When you are managing 100 clients or more, these features are critical.

Allow for network share searches?
Some of our network shares got hit by the cryptowall virus and I was hoping to use Passware Enterprise (which I normally keep on a Win 7 client machine) to search for the encrypted files but noticed that Passware doesn't allow for this. Obvious workaround is to uninstall and put on the server in question, but didn't realize this limitation until I needed it.
5 votesEncryption Analyzer, which is included in Passware Kit Enterprise and Passware Kit Forensic, supports scanning of network shared drives. Make sure to select these drives in the “Selected Drives and Folders” field when you initiate the encryption scan.

iCloud FV2 Recovery Key
With Yosemite encouraging users to use FV2 by default and the default option of storing the FV2 restore key in the users iCloud account it would be nice if this data were obtainable through the iCloud downloader.

rainbow
Be able to use Rainbow tables from freerainbowtables.com
They have the format of RTI2 that is claimed to be smaller and faster.
Would be great to be able to use this format instead.

Ability for Passware agents to update from the Application automaticly.
I have a Passware Server with 25 agents on a separate network (non internet connected). When there is an update to Passware none of the agents will connect to the server unless I manually update each agent....Huge time waster. I would like the software to see that it has an old version of the agent and push out the new version.

Record the local time zone in the log
The time zone in the log should be my local time zone. It's not even UTC. It is -8 from PDT.

Combine the logs to one text file
Combine the results HTML file and the logs text file to one text file.
Why do I have to go to two different tabs to save the logs and why are the logs in two different file formats (HTML and text)?
I have to print the log to a standard Word template we use. The case number, dates, page numbers, details of the jobs are important to have in the log. I am using the Forensic version.

Enhance the User Interface
The Passware Kit's user interface should in my opinion give more information about what's happening and how are the computing resources really utilised. An overstall statistics shadows information such as that one of X GPUs is not computing or that agent #3 is connected, but not working.
19 votesReleased in Passware Kit 2018 v3.
Detailed information on each Passware Kit Agent is now displayed, including performance and hardware information and an overall summary for all of the Agents connected.
It is also now possible to sort and filter the list of Passware Kit Agents based on their performance and status.

Dictionary cleaning tool
When large dictionaries are added, remove anylines with chars that will cause an error later in processing.
8 votesWhen compiling a custom dictionary in Passware Kit, apply a language filter to remove inappropriate lines. Choosing “no filter” will keep the dictionary as is.
-
Advance configure of attacks (for example don't repeat consecutive characters)
Some of the attacks don't let you enough freedom, making impossible to configure some specific attacks. For example: "do not repeat characters" --> agd (test it) - aad (don't test it) - ada (test it)
Advance configuration (or a language to configure attacks) could reduce wasted decryption tests and TIME!.5 votesFor such cases use Xieve attack with language settings and language filters for custom dictionaries.
When compiling a custom dictionary, Passware Kit asks you whether you want to apply a language filter to it.

Add support for the actual shadow file or multiple linux accounts
Currently to crack linux passwords you have to copy one user from the shadow file into a text file and then drag and drop that file into passware in order to crack the account. Having support for multiple accounts hashes or the actual shadow file would greatly improve processing.
