We are happy to inform you that password recovery for Steganos Data Safe encrypted containers has been introduced in Passware Kit 2023 v2

Dear Dirk, we only support the latest Steganos containers, but older encryption is not supported.
You can contact us at https://support.passware.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and send us part of the file to confirm the encryption type or check if there is an issue. -

But it's not working. Tried several sle-files. Passware 2023.3 regognize them as Steganos Dat Safe Container, which is good.
But it is unable to get the password. "Protection unsupported" is the result. -
